Turquoise jewelry { from my collection}

I was looking at my jewelry collection and noticed that my latest purchases included mostly turquoise pieces. Heck I'm even wearing a turquoise sweater as I type this, which leads me to the question;

I met Bessy Bugo during IFF and we have been great friends since.. I'd say her jewelry probably has a lot to do with that. I got these pieces from her and I love them to bits, especially the ones with pearls.. real pearls :)

Lipstick sealer - a bag of tricks

Ever wondered how to make your lipstick last for ages?? I know I have, at least I used to until one day I came across this lipstick sealer by Constance Caroll. I remember asking one "nice" assistant at the store what exactly the function of a lipstick sealer was, to which she replied, "to seal lipstick!" with a snorty look that made me want to punch her.. What is it with these overly made up attendants anyway, chill on the attitude..

Anyway I bought mine at I think super cosmetics, the one on the same street as Imax,

Makes your lipstick last forever.. well, almost
Seals in your lipstick so it won't stain glasses or straws or bottles {or clande's* shirt}
Stings.. a little. do not apply on chapped lips

Moisturise your lips, you still have to do this yourself
Change your lipstick appearance

White ruffled blouses

I had sort of an obsession with white ruffled blouses a while back which left my closet pretty much monochrome.. I have no regrets though because these pieces are great, especially for work. They are modest and they say, "Hey! I'm a lady and I'm the boss..." Oh, and they match just about anything, what's not to love?
